Pastor Jonathan Ballard, DD was born the 9th child out of 11 children to Richard Lee and Helen Elizabeth Ballard. After achieving Eagle Scout in the Boy Scouts of America Pastor Ballard began to realize the calling of leadership in his life.
Pastor Ballard has been Senior Pastor of the Church of the Living God located in Leland, NC since 1996. He is also the Chairman of Straightway Ministries, which specializes in media and youth outreach. Pastor Ballard holds a degree in Civil Engineering and has worked for the Wilmington District Corps of Engineers in the Geo-technical and Construction branches. He also holds a Doctorate of Divinity from Ramah Bible School with emphasis on biblical counseling and presides Bishop of the Church of the Living God Association of churches.
