Financial Responsibility in Today’s Times

Today on Speak Life we are talking about Financial responsibility. Many of us struggle to keep our bank accounts above negative, but as Christians we should practice good stewardship over the money we earn.

We live in an age when many of the things we do are centered around self-gratification. Our finances are centered around the same principles of “have it NOW!” It is so important to realize and monitor our bad habits in order to overcome this system of frivilous spending. we have posted the link to a great article about banks and overdraft fees here.

Here are some Bible verses to help fight the urge to splurge:

Matthew 26:41 – “Watch and pray, that ye enter not into temptation: the spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak.”

I Peter 5:8 – “Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour:”

James 1:4 – “But let patience have her perfect work, that ye may be perfect and entire, wanting nothing.”
